Diggs takes to social media following trade from Buffalo to Houston

The wide receiver took to social media Wednesday night to share his thoughts. Simply put, he wanted to say thank you.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Less than 12 hours after word spread that the Buffalo Bills traded Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans, the wide receiver took to social media Wednesday night to share his thoughts.

Simply put, he wanted to say thank you.

"I can’t begin to express the amount of love and respect I have for the city of Buffalo," Diggs said in an Instagram post.

"Four of the best years of my life, the city welcomed me with open arms. I’m forever grateful for you all and the @buffalobills organization."

Diggs, now 30, joined the Bills in 2020 and helped the Bills become Super Bowl contenders during his four seasons. In his first season, he caught 127 passes for 1,535 yards.

In his four seasons in Buffalo, Diggs racked up 5,372 receiving yards and 37 touchdowns.

"Something special was built over these years with some very special men, that will always have a place in my heart," Diggs said. "Billsmafia, so many great memories created throughout the years. Those games were crazy because of you. Sadly good things come to an end until we meet again."
