BUFFALO, N.Y. — ESPN's Adam Schefter a senior NFL insider had reported that the Buffalo Bills would be trading wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans as of 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday.
The Buffalo Bills confirmed the ESPN speculations a few hours later, posting to their social media pages "We’ve agreed to terms on a trade that will send WR Stefon Diggs to Houston for a 2025 second round draft pick".
On the Bills website they listed the terms of the trade being that
- Buffalo receives a 2025 second-round pick (via the Vikings)
- Houston receives WR Stefon Diggs, a 2024 sixth-round pick (No. 189 overall) and a 2025 fifth-round pick
Diggs has been with the Buffalo Bills since 2020 after being selected by the Minnesota Vikings as a fifth-round pick in 2015.
This will be the 7th player that the Bills have moved on from this postseason. Some of those include Jordan Poyer, Tre'Davious White, Gabe Davis, and Mitch Morse.
