BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Erie County Board of Elections on Thursday released the Day 6 total for general election early voting.
There were 15,022 ballots cast on the sixth day of early voting across Erie County for Nov. 5 general election, according to the board of elections commissioners, Ralph Mohr and Jeremy Zellner.
The six-day total for early voting is now 100,146. Four years ago, during the last presidential election, nearly 168,000 people — 167,938, to be exact — took advantage of the early voting period.
Polls countywide will be open from noon to 9 p.m. Friday. They will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, when the nine-day window ends.
For the Nov. 5 general elections, polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
