Lockport High School to reopen Tuesday following anonymous threat

The Lockport Police Department investigated the situation; however, they did not find a credible threat.

LOCKPORT, N.Y. — Lockport High School was closed Monday due to a threat.

The Lockport City School District says an anonymous bomb threat was received through the district's tip line. The district cancelled classes for students and staff at the high school.

The Lockport Police Department investigated the situation; however, they did not find a credible threat.

The Lockport City School District says they will continue to take all threats seriously, adding that the high school will be back open on Tuesday.
