WEST SENECA, N.Y. — The West Seneca Central School District said Tuesday that it investigated what could have perceived as a threat.
The conclusion, according to a statement posted to Facebook around 9:10 p.m., was that "there is no credibility to this threat."
Earlier Tuesday night, in a Facebook statement posted around 7:10 p.m., West Seneca schools said a "Middle School student made comments that could be perceived as threatening in nature," and that it was brought to the district's attention on Tuesday afternoon.
The school district said a thorough investigation yielded no threat, emphasizing the safety and well-being of the students.
