Starflight pilots arrested on charges of larceny

Two pilots from Starflight were arrested and charged with larceny following an internal investigation in July.

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Two pilots from Starflight were arrested and charged with petit larceny following an internal investigation in July.

The Chautauqua County District Attorney's office say Jacob P. Ventura, 34, of Chaffee, and Mark S. Chamberlain, 60, of Hamburg were arrested and arraigned.  They entered pleas of not guilty and their cases have been adjourned in contemplation of full dismissal.   Officials say Ventura has made full restitution for the missing items.

They were arrested and charged by Jamestown Police.

On Thursday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office sent out a press release that both men pleaded guilty to the charge. The District Attorney says their press release was not accurate.  Our reporting has been updated to reflect the correct information.
