BUFFALO, N.Y. — Looking to adopt a cat?
The Ten Lives Club Cat Adoption Group and the Bissell Pet Foundation are aiming to Empty the Shelters and find homes for pets in need.
In honor of the event, adult cats 1 year old and older will be $25 each on Saturday. All adoptable cats have been microchipped, given distemper shots and rabies shots (if old enough), and have been spayed and neutered. They have also been treated for fleas, worms and ear mites.
The group also guarantees that if, for some reason, your adopted feline friend gets sick within the first 14 days after adoption the shelter will pay for any vet treatment.
Three Ten Lives locations are participating in the Empty the Shelters event, including the main shelter in Blasdell, Ten Lives Club at PetCo in West Seneca, and Ten Lives Club at the Eastern Hills Mall.
Cats will be available to adopt until 4 p.m. Saturday.
