Niagara SPCA to provide cookies, gifts for anyone who adopts

Lewiston-based Cookie Doodle Dough says it plans to donate around 25 boxes a week for the SPCA initiative.

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — The Niagara SPCA is looking to adopt out some more animals to forever homes, and it's now offering up a new partnership with a company based in Lewiston.

The SPCA is teaming up with Cookie Doodle Dough to provide some cookies and gifts for anyone who adopts an animal there.

And people who adopt animals will get more than just a box of treats.

"Inside of the box is a thank-you note that is written as if it were coming from the pet to the adoptive owner, and a message from Tim Brennan about the importance of the work of the Niagara SPCA," Cookie Doodle Dough owner Robert DeFazio said.

Cookie Doodle Dough says it plans to donate around 25 boxes a week for the initiative at the Niagara SPCA.
