BUFFALO, N.Y. — Record high temperatures were reached again on Tuesday hitting 72° at the Buffalo Airport.  This broke the record for the date which was 68° set in 2004.

On Monday, Buffalo also shattered a record high by reaching 72° as well. The old record was 63° set in 1974.

A cold front moving through during Tuesday night will bring rain showers and a few t-storms, and some rain showers Wednesday followed by much cooler temperatures.

In fact, Wednesday’s highs will be about 25° cooler than today with numbers only in the mid 40s for the highs.

Dry weather is expected Thursday and Friday with some sunshine as temperatures climb back into the 50s.

A soaking rain is possible on Saturday with rain and snow for Sunday.
