BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Sabres didn't find much joy in last week's season-opening games in Prague. They lost back-to-back games to the New Jersey Devils, who then trolled the team on social media.
But at least one Sabre can say they rode an elevator at a Prague hotel with Bob Dylan. Which one remains a mystery for now, because the folk-singing legend didn't drop any names.
"I ran into one of the Buffalo Sabres in the elevator at the Prague hotel. They were in town to play the New Jersey Devils. He invited me to the game but I was performing that night," Dylan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The Sabres played games Friday and Saturday at O2 arena. Dylan performed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at O2 universum in Prague,. He started with "All Along the Watchtower" and ended with "Every Grain of Sand" all three nights.
