NFL announces player fines for Week 10 games

This week there were 27 plays resulting in fines for on-field discipline.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — No Bills players were fined by the NFL for game-related rules violations during Week 10, but others players were.

Tops among them were Los Angeles Chargers safety Derwin James and Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Stanley Morgan Jr. Both were fined more than $43,000 for their actions during Week 10 games.

James was fined $43,710 for unnecessary roughness during the Chargers' 41-38 home loss to the Detroit Lions. He was penalized for a hit to the head of Lions receiver Josh Reynolds.

Morgan was fined $43,709 for unnecessary roughness during the Bengals' 30-27 home loss to the Houston Texans. His hit was against Houston wide receiver Robert Woods during a punt return.

The NFL announces player fines each Saturday afternoon during the regular season. This week, there were 27 plays resulting in fines for on-field discipline.
