BUFFALO, N.Y. — If you didn't already make a visit to Niagara Square to see the Josh Allen Gatorade poster, it's too late now.
Workers on Saturday took down the "IS IT IN YOU?" campaign poster overlooking Niagara Square, found on the side of the Statler building. It was based on a 30-second ad detailing the work that went into quarterback's gradual rise from high school, to community college, then Wyoming, and finally to Buffalo and stardom in the NFL.
2 On Your Side contacted City Hall, which issued a statement Saturday evening.
"Statler Building owner Douglas Development successfully completed and complied with all required sign permits with the city and all approvals were granted, including a zoning variance. The contract for the billboard was for a 30-day period between Douglas Development and Gatorade, which has recently expired," the City of Buffalo said in a statement issued Saturday evening.
Josh Allen will reach a milestone with Sunday's home game against the Tennessee Titans.

The Bills quarterback has played in 100 games during his seven-year career in the NFL. He started in 99 of those. Start No. 100 will come at Highmark Stadium this weekend.
The one that wasn't a start happened to be the very first one, on Sept. 9, 2018, when Allen came off the bench to finish the Bills' season-opening loss, 47-3, at the Baltimore Ravens.
Nathan Peterman started that game, completing 5 of 18 passes for 24 yards, two interceptions, and a 0.0 quarterback rating. Baltimore also sacked him three times before being pulled for Allen, who finished 6-of-15 passing for 74 yards.
Since then, Allen evolved into one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL.
