Game day: Jets 13, Bills 6, final

Buffalo coach Sean McDermott said last week that some of his starters will get some playing time this week. Others won't play at all.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — 4th Quarter 

NY Jets 13  Bills 6

Stephen Hauschka kicked a 29-yard field goal with 47 seconds left to complete the game's scoring.

Sam Ficken adds a  47-yard field goal to give the Jets a 13-3 lead with 2:06 remaining in the fourth quarter. The drive takes seven plays, 13 yards, and takes 3:12 off the clock. 

Cody Ford has returned to the game for the Bills. 

With 13:31 remaining in the fourth quarter the Jets have scored the game's first touchdown. Sam Darnold connects with Jamison Crowder for a one yard touchdown. Sam Ficken kicks the extra point and the Jets lead 10-3. The drive takes nine plays, covers 75 yards and takes 2:58 off the clock. 

3rd Quarter

NY Jets 3 Bills 3

Stephen Haushcka kicks a 28 yard field goal to tie the game at 3. There is 1:29 left in the third quarter when the Bills finally get their first points of the game. 

The drive lasts 16 plays, covers  77 yards, and takes  8:11 off the clock.

 The Bills say Levi Wallace will not return to the game with an ankle injury. 

T.J. Yeldon runs for a 12 yard gain and on the play one of the Bills offensive lineman is down on the field. Ty Nsekhe is being looked at by the training staff. Nsekhe walks off the field with help from the trainers. This is his first game back after missing a number of games with an ankle injury. Nsekhe is carted off the field to the locker with 11:41 remaining in the third quarter. The Bills say Nsekhe has an ankle injury and is out for the game. 

Offensive lineman Cody Ford comes off the field. No word from the Bills just yet. He walked off with just under 5 minutes remaining in the third quarter. 

Halftime

N.Y. Jets 3, Bills 0

2nd Quarter

Sam Ficken misses a 34-yard field goal on the last play of the half. Jets lead the Bills 3-0 at halftime. 

Sam Ficken kicks a 30-yard field goal to give the Jets a 3-0 lead with 10:54 remaining in the second quarter. The drive last 11 plays, covered 71 yards, and took 5:29 off the clock. 

Bills cornerback Siran Neal is shaken up and walks off the field with the trainers. Neal is back in the game for the Bills. 

1st Quarter

Bills 0, Jets 0

No scoring in the first quarter.

Josh Allen is out of the game and Matt Barkley is in at QB for the Bills. 

Levi Wallace with the interception but is apparently injured on the play. The Bills say its an ankle injury and his return is doubtful. 

Jets kicker Sam Ficken misses wide left on a 51-yard field goal try. The game remains scoreless. 

The Buffalo Bills host the New York Jets in the regular season finale Sunday afternoon at New Era Field. With a win the Bills finish the regular season with a record of 11-5. The Bills haven't had that record since 1999. 

Head coach Sean McDermott said earlier this week that his starters, including quarterback Josh Allen, will get some playing time. 

The Bills won the season opener against the Jets, 17-16. They trailed 16-nothing before coming back to win the game. If the Bills beat the Jets they will finish with a 4-2 record against the AFC East, with both losses coming against the New England Patriots. 

Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at New Era Field.
