WEST SENECA, N.Y. — The West Seneca Police Accident Investigation Unit is asking for the public's help in connection to a recent hit and run on Sunday night.

Around 7:55 p.m., a white or light-colored dually pickup truck fled the scene after sideswiping an SUV causing a rollover accident on Route 400 Northbound near the Union Road exit ramp, according to police.

Police said the pickup truck may have had flashing yellow or amber lights and sustained minor damage to the driver's side. The car possibly left the scene north on Union Rd from Rt 400.

Two individuals in the victim vehicle were taken by firefighters and transported to ECMC for evaluation and treatment of non life-threatening injuries, police said.

West Seneca Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident, has dash cam footage, or any other information about the suspect vehicle to contact Lt. James Gehen at 716-674-2280.
