Thomas Quinn, 35, also charged with public lewdness for urinating in the road in the direction of a police officer.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — An Orchard Park man is facing an Aggravated DWI charge under Leandra's Law for allegedly rear-ending another car while driving with his three-year-old son.

The accident took place Friday night around 5 P.M. on North Freeman Rd. near East Quaker St. in the town.

Police say Thomas Quinn, 35, failed field sobriety tests and while an officer was attempting to perform a preliminary breath test, urinated in the road in the direction of that officer.

In addition to the felony charge, Quinn is also charged with DWI, Failure to Submit to a Breath Test, Following Too Closely, Public Lewdness and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He posted bail and was released.

The child was not hurt and was turned over to the custody of a family member.
