Niagara Falls man in critical condition after Monday night crash

The crash happened around 9:30 Monday night on Niagara Falls Boulevard.

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — A 42-year-old Niagara Falls man is in critical condition after he veered into oncoming traffic on the 6100 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard Monday night. 

The unidentified man was traveling east in his Kia Sedona when he drove across the center line and into the westbound lane, according to the Niagara Falls Police. His car struck another vehicle, driven by a 35-year-old Niagara falls man. 

Witnesses started life saving measures on the man driving the Kia, until EMS arrived.

Both men were transported to the hospital. The 42-year-old is in critical condition and the 35-year-old is being evaluated for rib and ankle injuries.

The Police Department is still investigating the crash.
