Kenmore firefighters battle 2nd-alarm blaze at apartment complex

The Red Cross is assisting four families after a fire at the Westchester Park Apartments, just south of Kenmore Mercy Hospital.

KENMORE, N.Y. — The Red Cross is assisting four families after firefighters battled a second-alarm fire at an apartment complex Saturday evening, according to Kenmore Fire officials.

The fire was at the five-story Westchester Park Apartments, at 55 Ralston Avenue, just south of Kenmore Mercy Hospital.

First responders were called to the scene around 4:30 p.m.

When contacted Sunday, Kenmore Fire did not provide a cause of the fire.
