BUFFALO, N.Y. — No injuries were reported after a fire rolled through a Buffalo home on Sunday evening.
Firefighters responded around 6 p.m. Sunday to 98 Durham Ave., just east of Erie County Medical Center. That's where a fire had started inside a 1.5-story building with a wood frame.
A spokesperson for the Buffalo Fire Department said the fire started on the first floor, which was vacant at the time.
"The second floor of the structure was occupied, but no injuries have been reported," Buffalo Fire said in a statement.
The fire caused $50,000 in damages to building and $10,000 in damages to its contents.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
