CATTARAUGUS COUNTY, N.Y. — An hours-long search for four people in Zoar Valley came to end Sunday morning when rescuers found them and helped them to safety.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office said the two adults and two kids were being evaluated but don't appear to have any injuries.
The original call for help came around 8 p.m. Saturday.
Multiple agencies assisted in the search. The sheriff's office said the four had trouble leaving the gorge but didn't say exactly where they were found or what it took to bring them to safety.
