BUFFALO, N.Y. — A multi-unit building in South Buffalo caught fire Saturday night, displacing six people and sending a Buffalo firefighter to the hospital.
Firefighters responded to the fire on Southside Parkway just before 10:15 p.m.
Buffalo Police say one firefighter was taken to Erie County Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
Fire investigators say the fire started in the basement of the multi-unit building, causing $275,000 worth of damage.
The American Red Cross is assisting six people.
