BUFFALO, N.Y. — The East Clinton Library in Buffalo is set to receive $346,792 from NYS 2024 capital funds.
This funding will support upgrades, including replacements of windows, storefronts, original exterior doors, and floor tiles. In addition, it will help the rehabilitation of the subbase and roof replacement.
The goal of these improvements, according to Assemblyman Pat Burke, is to protect the library from weather-related damage and enhance its sustainability.
The money is being funded through the State Aid for Library Construction Program which is a $34 million state initiative.
East Clinton Library is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 12 p.m. from 8 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
