An Erie County Deputy, Brandon Radoani finished 10 months of cancer treatments and rang the remission bell on Monday.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — An Erie County Deputy is celebrating after 10 months of treatment at Roswell Park

34-year-old Brandon Radoani has been receiving treatment for stage three colorectal cancer. But as of Monday Morning, he's officially in remission.

Deputy Radoani rang the victory bell, surrounded by the friends and family that helped him in his fight. He told 2 On Your Side, "It means everything to me that my kids are able to grow up with their father and I'm able to be around with my wife and support her for the rest of my life," Radoani said. "I wouldn't be able to do that if it wasn't here at Roswell. Everything goes out to the people here, the doctors, the nurses, every single person here."

Deputy Radoani's family says they're grateful for the support of his coworkers throughout his treatment.
