BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Daily Hospitalization data for the WNY Region has dropped below 60 for June 17. This is the first time it's been that low since March 27.
The Daily Hospitalization number on June 17 was 52, down from 67 the day before.
New York State's data tracking for hospitalizations goes back to March 26. On that date in the WNY Region, 49 patients were hospitalized for COVID. That’s only 3 fewer than the data for 6/17.
The Percent Positive for the WNY Region on 6/17 was 1.1%. The 7 Day Rolling Average remains at 1%. There were 48 new cases detected on 6/17, out of 4,545 tests in the 5 county region.
