BUFFALO, N.Y. — For the third year in a row, Buffalo Public Schools will launch a project into space.
But it's the second time Buffalo's International Preparatory School students will get the opportunity after winning a space competition.
It's part of the Western New York STEM Take Flight program.
The students will launch their experiment into space from Cape Canaveral, Florida, in the spring or summer.
They will also get the chance to meet researchers, then share their findings at a national convening at the Smithsonian.
