BUFFALO, N.Y. — A woman was shot and killed June 13, 2024, in the City of Buffalo.
The shooting happened around 8:45 p.m. on the 100 block of Liddell Street, near Broadway and Bailey Avenue. That's where Ferry-Fillmore detectives say a 43-year-old woman was shot during an altercation with other women.
The woman was rushed by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center, where she was declared dead, according to a Buffalo Police spokesperson.
The Erie County District Attorney's Office says Shana A. Rowe is charged with one count of Murder in the Second Degree in connection with the shooting.
She could face up to 25 years to life in prison if she is convicted. Her next court date is June 26. She is currently being held without bail.
