BUFFALO, N.Y. — One person was shot and killed Thursday afternoon on Buffalo's West Side.
The shooting happened around 2 p.m. Thursday on the 500 block of Potomac Avenue, west of Elmwood Avenue. That's where Buffalo Police officers confirmed that one person was dead.
No other information has been made available by a City of Buffalo spokesperson at this time.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
The shooting happened on the same day that Buffalo Police made two arrests in connection to an incident where two officers were injured early Thursday. One of the injured officers was hit with a car, but both are reported to have non-life threatening injuries.
