Third arrest in Club Marcella shooting

​Police have not named the third person, but say that the 28-year-old male is charged with gang assault.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Police Department says they have made a third arrest in connection with last weekend's shooting at Club Marcella.

James K. Pardo of Buffalo was arraigned in Buffalo City Court .  He is charged with one count of Gang Assault in the First Degree.

Two other men believed to have been involved in an alleged assault inside a bathroom at Club Marcella on Sunday have been charged. 

Ramon L. Lopez, 29 was arraigned Tuesday and is charged with one count of Gang Assault in the First Degree. Yeramell Benitez, 20 of Buffalo is charged with one count of Gang Assault in the First Degree.

As of Monday, the male victim, who suffered a gunshot during the attack, was taken by ambulance to ECMC where he was being cared for with serious injuries.

Buffalo Police say they are still investigating the incident and more arrests could be made.
