BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police are asking for the public's help in finding a woman believed to be involved in the kidnapping of an 8 and 10-year-old.
According to officers, 20-year-old Jenique Bailey is wanted for questioning for Friday's abduction.
The 8-year-old boy and 10-year-old girl were reported missing by their legal guardian at approximately 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Police on Friday found the children, and arrested the alleged biological mother, Jennie Johnson, 41, of Buffalo. Johnson has an order of protection against her, stating that she is not to make contact with the children at any time.
She is facing charges of one felony count of kidnapping; one misdemeanor count of custodial interference; two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child; and two misdemeanor counts of criminal contempt.
Police said the investigation is still ongoing and anyone who's seen Jenique Bailey is asked to call 911 immediately.
