Small businesses, holiday creativity on display in Niagara Falls

The six-hour event featured 120 vendors, live music, live art, and three craft workshops for children.

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — A celebration of small businesses and holiday creativity were on display Saturday at the Niagara Falls Conference Center.

That's where the LiveNF Makers Market took place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring 120 vendors, live music, live art, and three craft workshops for children. The Western New York Book Arts Center Printing Letter Press hosted one of those workshops.

The event also featured 20 youth vendors. The entrepreneurs graduated from the Kids Business Fair Program, and they provided another options for shoppers who wanted to buy local on Small Business Saturday.

LiveNF Makers Market led into a tree-lighting ceremony with Santa Claus an an opening-night street party that was set to begin at 5:45 p.m.
