NEW YORK — With a merger now complete, FeedMore WNY is kicking off 2020 by expanding into a new geographic service area.
The agency on December 31 received final approvals from the state attorney general on the alliance between Meals on Wheels of Western New York and the Food Bank for Western New York.
When the deal was first announced last February, agency executives said they hoped to add new services. That started last summer, with a mobile food pantry for seniors and a backpack program for kids on break from school; and continued in late October, when the agency partnered with Lockport Meals on Wheels.
