BUFFALO, N.Y. — No Super Bowl party would be complete without pizza and wings.
With that in mind, 2 On Your Side stopped by a couple of Western New York restaurants that are doing something unique.
The Bar-Bill Tavern in East Aurora and now in the Northtowns, as well as La Nova, helped people outside of Buffalo get their fix for pizza and wings by shipping their food in time for the big game.
"We ship wings all across all 50 states, even Hawaii and Alaska, year-round. And this past week, we did a couple thousand really all across the country from many different places," Ryan Bermingham of The Bar-Bill Tavern said.
The shipments come in a flash-frozen pack with instructions on how to make them, just like you would get them in the restaurant.
"Real high demand. It's Buffalo wings! It's La Nova wings, that's what it really is," La Nova owner Joe Todaro said.
