TONAWANDA, N.Y. — The Village of Kenmore and Town of Tonawanda (Ken-Ton) Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Ross Cellino and the Cellino Family Foundation for a unique program aimed at finding forever homes for animals at the Niagara County SPCA.

Business owners and community members are encouraged to "Sponsor a Cage" with all sponsorships and donations going directly to the shelter to help pay for food, medicine and overall care for an animal in need.

Those who sponsor a cage get their logo on the cage, and once the animal is adopted the sponsor will get an updated picture to share of the adopting family.

"The sponsors are the Guardian Angels for our animals," said Kimberly LaRussa, Niagara SPCA events manager. "They are passionate about getting their sponsored animal adopted by posting photos on social media. This program is an innovative way for those who care about animals and want to facilitate their adoption while creating an awareness of their business."
