LOCKPORT, N.Y. — Craving soup? You can sample a variety of soups from local restaurants Saturday morning at the Lockport Community Farmers Market.
But that's not all — every purchase goes to a good cause. Lockport Main Street Inc. and the Lockport Community Market have joined together to raise money for local food pantries through their Soup-a-Palooza event.
Each soup sample costs $1 or one canned good donation.
Soup-a-Palooza 2020 features delicious and creative soups from 10 local restaurants. The event goes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Restaurants participating in Soup-a-Palooza include Danny Sheehan's Steakhouse, Lock 34, Village Eatery Italian Bistro, Davison Road Inn, Stooges Stuffed Burger Bar, Bonjour Crepes, Ashley's Culinary Creations, Parker's Pit, Stone Hollow Farm and the Penalty Box.
