NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — A big Thanksgiving feast was prepared for members of the community at the Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission in Niagara Falls.
About 2,000 meals were packed and delivered to people in need throughout the city, people who most likely would not have been able to enjoy a warm meal without the help of all of those volunteers.
"Some of the folks out there can't afford what maybe some of us can afford, a turkey dinner, and they call in, and we're so happy we can give them these dinners," Rich Neumann of the Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission said.
Once Thanksgiving is over, preparation begins for the Rescue Mission's Feed the Falls Christmas dinner.
