WEST SENECA, N.Y. — West Seneca's very own Sydney Sterlace continued her journey on the singing competition The Voice on Monday night.
Sydney performed a cover of Lewis Capaldi's song 'Bruises' during her knockout round.
In a video posted on The Voice's Facebook page of Sydney's performance, it says, "We’ve found peace with Sydney Sterlace’s beyond amazing rendition of Lewis Capaldi’s 'Bruises'.”
After Sydney's performance the judges all stood to give her a standing ovation, along with her fellow teammate Jan Dan who performed a cover of Miley Cyrus's 'Angels Like You'.
"Sydney, your voice has this maturity." one of the judges Michael Bublé says, "That doesn't usually happen at 15-years-old."
It is up to their coach to make the decision of who will be eliminated, Sydney or Jan Dan.
"I feel that both your performances were stellar." Bublé added "You both deserve to be here."
Gwen Stefani, who is the two singers coach, expressed how hard the decision would be to send one home.
"Okay, this is hard." Stefani said
"Gwen it's all up to you." Carson Daly, the shows host said.
Ultimately, Gwen chose Sydney as the knockout winner. Watch the full video by clicking here.
