BUFFALO, N.Y. — Temperatures dipped low enough overnight Thursday for local ski resorts to make snow for the first time this season.
The timing was perfect at Kissing Bridge, where their annual open house kicks off this afternoon.
"We get snow like this for the open house, and it makes it so much better," said Andy Minier. "All of our ski friends come back out to the neighborhood here, we all gather. Mostly it's just a great time for the friends to gather, to spend some time at the slopes, to look at the snow-making and see what's going on here. Enjoy some food and drink, and great ready for the season."
