Veterans Day honors in Western New York

The Buffalo Naval Park has been honoring veterans with free admission throughout Veterans Day weekend, which will continue Monday.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Naval Park is a special place for Western New Yorkers and visitors to honor the men and women who have served in the military all year long. 

The park has been honoring veterans with free admission throughout Veterans Day weekend, which will continue Monday. There will also be a wreath laying ceremony presented in partnership with Explore and More Children's Museum at 1 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. You can learn more by clicking here

Forest Lawn Cemetery held a service Monday morning to honor servicemen and women. The annual event is hosted by the American Legion. They marked the graves of veterans with flags. The event ended with a rifle salute and Taps.
