Buffalo-area fundraiser, patriot concert raise veterans' spirits

One such event was Pin Ups For A Cause, a fundraiser in Lackawanna that included a first-ever beard, mustache and goatee contest.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A couple events raised money and veterans' spirits on Sunday night.

One such event was Pin Ups For A Cause, a fundraiser in Lackawanna that included a first-ever beard, mustache and goatee contest.

The event raises money for the Pin Ups group, which visits veterans at the V.A. and other organizations throughout the year, especially with no-shave November.

This event, in particular, also raised money and awareness for cancer.

And in Buffalo, the American Bombshells from New York City performed with the 85-piece, 22-time National Championship American Legion Band of the Tonawandas at Shea's Theatre.

The American Bombshells are the modern-day version of the Andrew Sisters and have entertained troops all over the world
