BUFFALO, N.Y. — Before the weekend and potential for lake effect snow comes around, Western New York will play host to a wintry and messy Thursday.
A wave of rain, freezing rain and snow moved in early Thursday morning and lead to minor ice accumulations across Western New York. The highest totals though was in West Valley where an ice accumulation of 0.17 inches was measured. This lead to a difficult and slippery driving conditions.
