BUFFALO, N.Y. — It was a chilly start to Wednesday in the 30s and with some sunshine before clouds quickly increased once again as an area of low pressure moved in from the west.
As expected, some rain showers arrived mid to later afternoon, and the precipitation started out briefly as a wintry mix, with some rain, sleet and snow for some. But a warm front moving in is changing over most of any wintry precipitation to rain by the mid to later evening, with moderate rain at times. Either way, the commute home was slow for some during Wednesday evening.
Temperatures are increasing once again to around 50 later tonight. Heavy rain at times will be possible into the overnight hours with a rumble of thunder.
Thursday morning will have some rain possible early, then just cloudy skies for later morning and then partly sunny for the afternoon with highs in the mid to low 50s, before dropping to the 30s once again for Thursday night.
