BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Potter County in northern Pennsylvania. There's also a Winter Storm Watch issued for McKean County.
The Winter Storm Warning for Potter County runs from 6 p.m. Monday to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Heavy snow, with accumulations of 3 to 4 inches, is expected across portions of central and northern Pennsylvania. The weather could make for hazardous conditions and difficult travel.
"Snowfall rates of one to two inches per hour are likely prior to sunrise on Tuesday. Snow will continue to fall through Tuesday morning before tapering off in the early afternoon hours," according to the National Weather Service.
