A Winter Weather Advisory that was issued for Cattaraugus and Allegany Counties was cancelled late Sunday morning.
The advisory for Northern Pennsylvania (McKean and Potter Counties) is also no longer in effect.
There was a threat of freezing rain and mixed precipitation, but only rain is expected in the afternoon as surface temperatures warm.
Further north, expect cloudy skies for Buffalo on Sunday.
