BUFFALO, N.Y. — Sunday's wind storm wreaked havoc across Western New York, causing power outages and trees to come down.
The winds also caused damage to the roof at Shea's Performing Arts Center.
City of Buffalo officials say a small portion of the roof came off last night. They are working with an emergency contract to make repairs so that there is no further damage to the building.
It has already been a tough year for Shea's due to COVID-19. All stage performances have been cancelled or postponed through March 2021.
Last month, Shea’s laid off seven employees, in addition to those that were furloughed over the summer.
