Couple locked out of car with dogs as snow increases

In a social media post the Erie County Sheriff's Office shared a hairy rescue that they made in Clarence as the snow began to pile up.

ERIE COUNTY, N.Y. — The snow is continuing to get heavy throughout many areas of WNY and people are encouraged to stay inside while many areas begin to issue travel bans.  

In a social media post, the Erie County Sheriff's Office shared a hairy rescue that they made in Clarence as the snow began to pile up this morning.

A couple that was walking their dogs in Beeman Creek Park this morning got locked out of their car, and deputies came to the rescue to help. 

In the post which can be viewed below:

"GOOD DOGS! These folks got locked out of their minivan at Beeman Creek Park in Clarence, just as the snow was picking up. Tech Sgt. Naegely gave them a ride home to fetch the spare key."
