BUFFALO, N.Y. — With the Bills vs. Steelers game now being moved to Monday, conditions will be much less wintry than they would have been on Sunday, but we are not entirely out of the woods.
For Monday, still plan for cold conditions, with temperatures around 19 degrees to start the game, with a wind chill of around 0 degrees. Bundle Up!
Southwesterly winds will be around 15 miles per hour to start the game, gusting to around 30 mph, and decreasing slightly by the end of the game. The game should end around 17 degrees.
How much snow will be on the ground in Orchard Park for the game? The cold wind flow over the record-warm Lake Erie water and the track of the system will decide the extent of the impactful weather this weekend.
Already a foot of fresh snow on the ground at Orchard Park, at the stadium.
Lake snows mainly north of the stadium in the afternoon on Monday. Scattered snow at times is possible, but not a "snow" game expected.
Keep checking in for updates as we move through this weather event and track the snow band for more precise localized snow totals.
Stay tuned.
