BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Village of Kenmore, the Town of Tonawanda, and the Town of Cheektowaga have reinstated their winter parking bans due to the forecasted snow later this week.
Kenmore officials say their winter parking ban goes into effect on November 16 at 11 p.m. All cars are expected to be off the street between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m., regardless of the weather. The winter parking ban will remain in effect through March 15.
The Town of Tonawanda initiated its winter parking ban effective November 16 at 2 a.m.
Town of Cheektowaga officials did not give an official date of when their winter parking ban begins, but say the Cheektowaga Police Department will be placing reminders on vehicles parked overnight and will issue parking tickets once the snow starts falling later this week.
