BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 8pm Friday evening for Potter county was canceled. The storm threat has shifted further east of our area.
For Friday, The Storm Prediction Center had the southeastern corner of our area under a "marginal" risk for an isolated strong to severe storm. Potter county in N. PA was under a "slight" risk for storms that could contain damaging winds and hail as the main threats.
Any showers and storms that develop along and associated with this cold front are expected to exit our entire area by later Friday evening with high pressure building in and lasting into the the weekend.
The weekend is looking absolutely gorgeous with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s and sunshine on Saturday.
Low 80s on Sunday with partly sunny skies.
