BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Flash Flood Warning that was in effect for southwestern Chautauqua County until 6 p.m was canceled. This included Jamestown, Lakewood, Falconer, Jamestown West, Frewsburg, Busti, Gerry, Ellington, Celoron, Sinclairville, Panama, Cherry Creek, Bemus Point, Ellery Center, Ashville, Stow and Niobe.
And the Severe Thunderstorm Watch that was still in effect for Allegany county in WNY, and for N. PA until 9 p.m. Monday, was also canceled.
Hazards from the storms included wind gusts up to 60 mph, and damage to trees as well as power lines. Some roads were also flooded in the Jamestown area.
