BUFFALO, N.Y. — Rain showers expected for Tuesday with a few stronger thunderstorms also possible well south, mainly for southern Chautauqua county and for northern Pennsylvania.
Most areas will get between a quarter and a half of an inch of rain potentially, with even pockets of heavier rain and possible thunderstorms.

The best chance of thunderstorms is across the south parts of the Southern Tier, and for northern Pennsylvania especially where a few stronger storms are possible, with the main threats being gusty damaging winds and hail.
Temperatures will be cooler with highs in the low 70s and lows in the mid to low 50s.
