BUFFALO, N.Y. — On Monday morning, the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority announced that all bus service would resume on Tuesday.
The NFTA did inform passengers that they should anticipate delays. Additionally, paratransit service has not been suspended, but riders should reschedule if possible.
Further updates on service throughout the storm will be shared on NFTA social media accounts as well as on the NFTA's website.
As of Tuesday morning, a few areas of Erie County remain under a travel advisory, including Buffalo, Lackawanna, West Seneca, Elma, Marilla, Hamburg, Orchard Park, Aurora, Wales, Evans, Eden, Boston, Colden, & Holland.
According to local law enforcement, a travel advisory means roads are not closed, but motorists are advised to avoid traveling on roadways unless it is absolutely necessary. The main concern during an advisory is avoiding slippery roads, poor visibility, or allowing crews to plow streets.
